Timely Track #4: Joining BibRave Run Streak
The month of April ended on a great note for me with an unforgettable trip to Las Vegas for the running of the Revel Mt. Charleston Half Marathon. I will post a full review of that experience later this week here on the blog as well as on BibRave.Com. There were a number of positive things about it, one of which is how helpful I feel it was for both my mental as well my physical training in preparation for Grandma's Marathon in late June.
To build off that positive point and keep the momentum going, I am happy to be joining the BibRave Strava Run Streak that is taking place starting today, May 1st, all the way through the end of the month. With this Run Streak, I will be either running or walking at least 1 mile every day during the month of May. I can't think of a better way to stay completely focused on my training for Grandma's, which now enters a CRITICAL phase with race day being now less than 9 weeks away, so the timing is absolutely perfect for me.
We would love for you to join us on this Run Streak; all you have to do is sign up for a Strava account if you don't have one already (it's free!), then go to our BibRave Run Club at https://www.strava.com/clubs/bibrave and click on JOIN CLUB. Once you have joined, you just have to log 1 mile a day on Strava, either running, walking, or a combination of both, whether it's just while you are out walking your dog around the park, hitting the treadmill at the gym, or going back and forth from school or the store---it all counts! The idea is to be consistent at staying active, and have a bunch of awesome, like-minded people to cheer you and support you on that goal.
